County residents in Maine urged to become foster parents to aid needy children
Right now in Maine, many children are in need of a safe and supportive home to help them succeed, according to the Aroostook Mental Health Center, which asks County residents to consider becoming therapeutic foster parents.
“If you have ever thought about becoming a foster parent, or felt that you have so much to offer others, then you may be the individual to provide the support needed to help a child in need and show them there is hope for a brighter future,” said Chad Crandall,
Crandall said center staffers understand that becoming a foster parent is an incredible commitment, but he adds that “the rewards are immeasurable.”
