Florida Foster parents of murdered 2-year-old in process of adopting his newborn sister
Charisse Stinson, who is accused of killing her 2-year-old son Jordan Belliveau, recently gave birth to a girl.
Juliet and Sam Warren, who served as Jordan Belliveau’s foster parents, say they have filed paperwork to adopt the baby girl.
The Warrens had cared for Jordan before he was returned to Stinson, who is charged with first-degree murder for his death. Investigators say she confessed to hitting Jordan in the head “in a moment of frustration,” causing the back of his head to hit a wall. She then allegedly dumped his body in the woods.
The Warrens were heartbroken by Jordan Belliveau’s death.
On Friday, they released the following statement about the adoption of Jordan’s newborn sister.
“Last fall we were broken by the death of a child we loved dearly. We have nothing more to add about that event beyond what was expressed in our statement given last September. We do want to thank the community for its overwhelming prayers and support and for respecting our privacy during what has been an incredibly difficult time.
