Ashley and Jade Lewis have been foster parents for three years, already having 31 children come through their home.
“Because if they don’t have their parents and they don’t have us, then they have nobody,” Ashley said.
The Lewis family wants to be that somebody for kids while their biological parents can’t.
“We always make sure they have what they need,” Jade said. “These are their kids, we’re just stepping in to help while they can’t. So we want… it’s not that we’re trying to take anybody’s kids, we’re just mentoring them in the time of need.”
