KY Teen, in foster care for most of his life, ready for adoptive family
Trenton is like many others in Kentucky’s child welfare system: in and out of foster homes and residential facilities for as long as he can remember.
Trenton lives at The Life Connection in Senora, Kentucky. He said he’s learned tools to help him deal with past trauma. And now he’s ready for commitment.
“Basically a family that would love me and keep on trying and trying and trying,” he said. “Just as long as I have a home, I just feel like I’m ready for a home. I’m loving, I love to play video games, like to fish, pretty energetic, I’m nice, I can get a long with people easily.”
There is one more thing Trenton remembers from his early childhood. And it led to why he wants to be a police officer when he grows up.
